Is a mysterious primate roaming around Asia?

Mentions of Bigfoot or Sasquatch span all across the globe. Throughout Central and East Asia, legends have been told of a hairy ape-like humanoid creature as far back as the 15th century. The name “Almas” originates ancient languages of the Mongols, Iranians, and Turks to mean “wild man”. Centuries ago, Almas was believed to be some type of supernatural demonic entity that caused complications to woman during childbirth and labor stages. However, that characteristic has shrunk down in the past 100-200 years to refer to just an unknown humanoid living out in the wilderness. This cryptid can range in color, anywhere from reddish to brownish to even black. Almas is typically believed to be very strong and muscular, with a distinct brow ridge, flat nose, and receding chin. While many people feel like this creature could be a relic from the past and even a missing link in human evolution, other skeptics and cynics are convinced that it’s nothing more than mistaken identity, such as large bears. Indigenous tribes and groups have passed down tales over generations of Almas being part of the native fauna and even spiritual in nature. The animal is often reported in various countries from Kazakhstan to Mongolia and everything in between. This particular subspecies of Sasquatch-like creatures could be the biggest by size of all of them. Maybe it’s a living relic, such as Neanderthal. These cryptids are commonly associated with high mountainous regions that have thick forests and vegetation to stay hidden from the rest of the world. So what’s the truth?
