Monster Under The Sea

Centuries ago, many civilizations relied on the bodies of water on Earth as connections with others. Exploration was all the rage. However, many brave explorers reported strange cryptid creatures they encountered while out in the ocean. Nobody knew for sure if these creepy legends were true. Stories of sea monsters have been with us all along. Skeptics would chalk it up to just panic in stressful conditions or wild imagination, but we now know what could have been the source of such paranoia. Kraken was described as a monstrous animal beneath the surface that would sneak its long tentacles upward and grab unlucky sailors and ships to drag them down into the abyss. But that was only a myth, right? Wrong! Only just recently was a live animal caught on film matching this description. Giant squids and colossal squids are believed to have existed since the beginning of time, but nobody had ever proven or disproven that. It wasn’t until 2004 that pictures captured the truth, and in 2012 when one was recorded on video in its natural habitat. So could this now-classified beast of the sea be what was traumatizing the nautical world for centuries?
